Agreement
By downloading, accessing, or using Rambled, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Rambled.
You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these terms. If you use Rambled for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
The service
Rambled helps turn natural speech into proposed calendar events, reminders, and notifications. It supports Apple Calendar and Google Calendar and may surface your plan through iPhone and Mac widgets.
We may improve, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features. Some functions depend on your device, internet connection, Apple services, Google services, and permissions you control.
Permissions and connections
You choose whether to give Rambled access to the microphone, calendars, reminders, notifications, and connected services. You can change Apple permissions in iOS Settings and revoke Google access through Rambled or your Google Account settings.
You authorize Rambled to take the calendar and reminder actions you confirm or request. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and connected accounts and for activity performed through them.
Your content
You keep ownership of the speech, text, calendar details, and other content you provide. You give Rambled a limited permission to process that content only as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and support the service.
You are responsible for having the right to provide content about other people and for using Rambled in compliance with applicable law. Do not use Rambled to record people without any consent required where you live.
Review your plan
Speech recognition and date, time, event, and reminder interpretation can be incomplete or incorrect. Before relying on an item, review important names, dates, times, locations, recurrence rules, invitees, alerts, and calendar selection.
Rambled is not an emergency, medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical service. Do not rely on it as the only way to remember urgent or consequential obligations.
App Store terms
Rambled is licensed, not sold, to you through the Apple App Store. Apple's rules, payment terms, and refund processes apply to your download and any in-app purchase. Unless a custom license is presented in the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for Rambled except as required by applicable law. To the extent these terms conflict with applicable App Store terms, the App Store terms control for that issue.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- use Rambled unlawfully or to infringe another person's rights;
- attempt to bypass security, probe the service, or access systems or data without permission;
- reverse engineer or copy Rambled except where the law expressly permits it;
- interfere with the service or use automated methods that place an unreasonable load on it; or
- misrepresent your identity or use Rambled to distribute harmful code or abusive content.
Rambled's software, branding, design, and other materials are owned by Rambled or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rambled is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rambled and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, opportunities, or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Any total liability will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Rambled during the 12 months before the claim or US $50, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as Rambled changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice. Continuing to use Rambled after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
We may suspend or end access if you materially violate these terms, create risk for users or the service, or if required by law. Terms that should reasonably survive termination will remain in effect.
